Welcome to the world of gourds.  Gourd art is the fastest growing form  of art.  They can be sculpted,  painted, stained, dyed, carved,  inlayed  and  embellished with most anything that you desire.  Museums the world over have wonderful examples of gourd art with many of the gourds as old as 7,000 years.

I discovered these wonderful cousins of the pumpkins about ten years ago and they promptly began consuming my time.  My love and appreciation of the ancient art of the Native Americans inspires most of my work.   So, browse the pages to have a look at my creations

Painted Violin for the Symphony of the Hills fund raiser.  Couldn't resist adding a few gourds on the violin.
